Dr. Abadir is a seasoned dermatologist with over 20 years of experience in the field. She specializes in skin cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. In addition to her focus on skin cancer, she offers a range of cosmetic treatments aimed at helping patients achieve a more youthful and refreshed appearance. Her expertise includes non-surgical treatments such as injections and laser procedures.

Back in 1968, Dr. Abadir earned her medical degree from the University of Sydney Faculty of Medicine in Australia and has since dedicated her career to providing comprehensive dermatological care. She completed her residency in dermatology at NYU Hospitals Center and she is affiliated with several hospitals in the area, including Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, and Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, New Rochelle, NY.

She attained board certification in dermatology through the American Board of Dermatology, which is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

Recognized as a Fellow of the Medical Council of the Skin Cancer Foundation, Dr. Abadir is a proud member of prestigious organizations such as the American Society of Dermatological Surgery, the International Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Academy of Dermatology. She also frequently lectures and instructs at national and international conferences, contributing to the advancement of dermatological knowledge.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Abadir serves as an Assistant Professor at the Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she shares her expertise by teaching surgery to Dermatology residents. She has published numerous articles on skin cancer, cosmetic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. Her contributions to the field have earned her recognition, including being featured in New York Best Doctors.
