Established in 1981, Olansky Dermatology Associates is home for high quality medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology in Atlanta. The devoted team includes experienced physicians, physician’s assistants, a laser specialist, and a clinical aesthetician. They pride themselves on their ability to serve men, women, teens, and children for all their skin care needs, both medically and cosmetically. Whether it is eczema on an infant, teen acne, facial rejuvenation for men and women or a thorough skin cancer screening, the trusted dermatologists will treat each patient with the highest quality care.

The mission of Olansky Dermatology Associates states: “We provide our families with compassionate skin care and medical education, giving them the comfort and confidence to live healthy and beautiful lives. We put our patients first, work to constantly improve our patients’ experience, and demand excellence from our entire team.”

On his journey into medicine, Dr. Olansky graduated with his medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine in 1976. Inspired by his father’s life’s work in medicine, he pursued a specialty in dermatology first at the Medical College of Virginia. He then completed a fellowship in Mohs surgery and cutaneous oncology at the University of Wisconsin, under the direction of Dr. Frederic E. Mohs who originally pioneered the technique for skin cancer removal.

Committed to providing exceptional care to patients of all ages, the doctor is board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

A member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Dr. Olansky is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD) and a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery and Oncology (FACMS).

Dermatology is the branch of medicine dealing with the skin, the largest organ of the body; a specialty with both medical and surgical aspects. A dermatologist is a specialist doctor who manages skin diseases and deals with both internal and external causes and some cosmetic concerns involving the skin. Dermatological duties include taking consultations, providing screening tests, and undertaking non-invasive surgical procedures.

On a more personal note, Dr. Olansky is married and lives in Atlanta. He loves jazz and classical music. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and cocker spaniel.
