Get to know Dermatologist Dr. Natalie Bene, who serves patients in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Bene is a board-certified dermatologist & Mohs College fellowship-trained skin cancer specialist and dermatologic surgeon. She is the Owner & Operator of Bene Dermatology in York, Pennsylvania, remaining committed to offering the highest quality of care to her patients.

Bene Dermatology provides state-of-the-art dermatology services, including medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, as well as skin cancer prevention and treatment for conditions such as acne, psoriasis, skin cancer, and vitiligo. The practice offers a wide range of treatments including Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Blu U, Narrow Band UVB, Excimer Laser, Photodynamic Therapy, and Cryosurgery.

With extensive experience in the latest cosmetic skin enhancement procedures, Dr. Bene offers advanced treatments for facial rejuvenation, vascular and pigmented lesions, varicose and spider veins, Botox® Cosmetic and Dysport for wrinkles, Botox® Therapeutic for hyperhidrosis, Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse fillers for wrinkles and facial volume correction, and other newest cosmetic procedures.

Pertaining to her educational pursuits, Dr. Bene received her medical degree with high honors from Boston University School of Medicine and completed her internship in medicine and surgery at Newton-Wellesley Hospital affiliated with Tufts University Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She then went on to complete her residency in dermatology at the State University of New York/Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo.

Continuing her education, Dr. Bene pursued advanced training as a fellow in Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology, and reconstructive surgery with Dr. Brett Coldiron at the Skin Cancer Center in Cincinnati. She then served as a fellow in laser surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and phlebology with Dr. Robert Weiss at Maryland Laser, Skin & Vein Institute in Baltimore.

Working with integrity and passion, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

Maintaining fellowship status, Dr. Bene is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD) and a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery (FACMS). She is also an active member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania, she has staff privileges at York Hospital and Memorial Hospital of York. 

Dermatology is the branch of medicine dealing with the skin, which is the largest organ of the body. It is a specialty with both medical and surgical aspects. A dermatologist is a specialist who manages skin diseases and addresses both internal and external causes, including cosmetic concerns, involving the skin. Dermatological duties include providing consultations and screening tests, as well as undertaking cutaneous surgical procedures.

Successful in her field, Dr. Bene has authored numerous research articles and has given national lectures about advances in Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology, laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatologic surgery.

Among her various accolades include Patients’ Choice Award (2020), On-Time Doctor Award (2020), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2020). 

On a more personal note, she speaks English and Russian fluently.
