    Dear patient, I am so sorry for what you are going through. It sounds distressing. I assure you though that it should improve with treatment so have hope. Brain injuries and injuries to the skull around the eyes and face can really throw off your coordination and balance. Have you had any head injuries? How long has this been going on?. Have you had Nystagmus ruled out? This is eye shaking that occurs after head trauma. There may be a Neurological aspect to your condition. Vision therapy to strengthen the whole Oculomotor balance system will help. Did the 17 sessions you already had help?? You may also need to see a Neurologist if you have had any head trauma to rule out central nervous system issues. You may also want to see a Physical therapist who specializes in balance and eyes, known as a Vestibular therapist, or your vision therapist may also be able to assist. If you get headaches or nausea when your vision is unstable, you may need to rule out true migraines or ocular migraines.   • Severe eye pain and blurriness?

    You should go and see an optometrist initially. It will be quicker and less expensive. They can check for particles that may have penetrated the eye and lodged inside, check the eye pressure and look under the eyelid to see if something is lodged there.
