Back in 2009, Dr. Tassy graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. She then went on to perform her residency in emergency medicine at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in 2013.
Three years later, in 2016, she attained board certification in emergency medicine through the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). The AOBEM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of acutely ill patients with advanced cardiac life support, trauma, and the management of other life-threatening medical issues (emergency physicians).
In order to stay up to date in her field, Dr. Tassy remains an active member of the American Osteopathic Association.
