Get to know Internist Dr. Kamlesh Vyas, who serves the population of Missouri. Dr. Vyas completed his medical degree with M.P. Shah Medical College in India in 1988, giving him over three decades of experience in his field. He continued with M.P. Shah Medical College and completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency. After relocating to the United States he completed his general surgery Internship with The Robert Packer Hospital. Furthering his training he completed his Internal medicine residency with the Forest Park Hospital where he was named chief resident and later on as teaching faculty until 2006. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Vyas currently practices with as a physician with South St. Louis Medical Associates. He served as a Major in the US Air Force Reserves. South St. Louis Medical Associates, is a St. Louis-based, internal medicine practice, where they recognize that quality healthcare is a two-way street. The patient and physician are both responsible for the teamwork and communication to provide continual well being. That’s why they have created a practice that encourages proactive healthcare management — by putting patients first.
