Get to know Family Physician Dr. Stephanie Elnora Stafford, who serves patients throughout the State of Texas.

A very knowledgeable and clinically accomplished family physician, Dr. Stafford works with patients as an Independent Contractor in the clinic and telemedicine setting.  In addition to having a PhD in Medicine, Dr Stafford is also a Masters of Public Health and often travels to remote parts of the world to perform public health projects including microloans and the development of health systems. 

Her philosophy of patient care is based on compassion, efficacy, and teamwork. She focuses on providing her patients with the highest quality of care and encourages their participation in managing their own medical condition. She is known for giving her patients her undivided attention and practices with the goal of helping each of them lead healthy and fulfilling lives.

After graduating with her bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University, Dr. Stafford went on to earn her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. She completed two years of a General Surgery Program at the University of Washington, a year of research with a publication. She completed her  residency in Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee in 2004. 

Licensed to practice medicine in Texas, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine . The ABFM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.

Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Stafford has worked as a Hospitalist, in the Emergency Department, Wound Care,  Urgent Care and outpatient Family Medicine Clinics.  Her medical experience is extensive and all inclusive and is devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages.
