Originally from Williston Park, New York, Dr. Aruch graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He received his medical degree with a Distinction in Research at Albany Medical College where he graduated Cum Laude and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. After completing a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, he practiced as a hospitalist prior to completing his fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where he served as chief fellow.

In order to advance his professional efforts, the doctor remains a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society of Hematology.

Attributing his success to working hard and wanting to help people out, Dr. Aruch is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

Furthermore, he is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, whose mission is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
