Among her other roles, Dr. Veremis-Ley is a Clinical Investigator at Michigan Center for Skin Care Research, a part of the teaching faculty for St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Dermatology training program, and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine (Dermatology) at Michigan State University.
Locally, she can be found on staff at Beaumont Hospital – Troy, McLaren Macomb Hospital – Clinton Township, St. John’s Macomb- Oakland Hospital, and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital – Ann Arbor.
Throughout her academic career, Dr. Veremis-Ley graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001. She then went on to perform her residency at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals of Cleveland where she served as Academic Chief Resident in her final year.
Board-certified in dermatology, she is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology (AOBD). The AOBD is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the skin.
Belonging to several professional organizations, Dr. Veremis-Ley is an active member of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Contact Dermatitis Society, the Michigan Dermatological Society, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Michigan Osteopathic Association.
