Get to know Dermatologist Dr. Zaina Rashid, who serves patients throughout the State of Arizona.

Dr. Rashid is a top-ranked dermatologist and Mohs surgeon, offering state-of-the-art cosmetic procedures, diagnostic and treatment options for patients throughout the state of Arizona, including Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler, Glendale, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Peoria, and Tempe. She is one of the first and only providers of PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy for natural tissue regeneration in damaged and aging skin in the east valley.

As the Founder of La Peau Dermatology, she helps patients of all ages manage an array of skin diseases and conditions, including acne, psoriasis, eczema, shingles, and skin cancer including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma. Her expertise enables her to provide a higher standard of care and superior outcomes for patients throughout the Mesa region, making her the preferred choice for patients with all stages of skin cancer.

In addition to seeing patients at her practice, Dr. Rashid is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Midwestern University and Marian University, as well as serves as a Preceptor for Arizona State University. She lectures widely at medical conferences across the country and frequently consults for the pharmaceutical industry where she shares her expertise with her peers in the industry. 

Among the doctor’s professional affiliations, she is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Phoenix Dermatology Society. She is also a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (FAOCD), a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), and a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery (FASMS).

A dermatologist is a specialist doctor who manages skin diseases and deals with both internal and external causes and some cosmetic concerns involving the skin. A dedicated volunteer, Dr. Rashid has been recognized for her work for the United Nations Health Mission and is a co-founder of the Refugee Women United for Progress. She has also been published in numerous medical journals, as well as has received numerous awards and recognitions, including Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2017, 2018), On-Time Doctor Award (2017, 2018), and Patients’ Choice Award (2017, 2018).
