Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Clyde T. Jacob III, who serves patients in Johns Creek, Georgia.

A prominent obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Jacob III is in practice at Emory Women’s Center at Findlay Road in Johns Creek, Georgia. He also serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Emory University.

Graduating with his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1983, he completed his internship at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital at Columbia, and his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Beth Israel Medical Center.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts).
