She went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital – Ann Arbor, and her residency in radiology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine. Later, she completed a fellowship in body imaging at the Henry Ford Health System.

Subsequent to her education, the doctor attained board certification in diagnostic radiology through the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.

Radiology refers to the field of medicine that uses non-invasive imaging scans to diagnose a patient. A radiologist is a physician who uses imaging methodologies to diagnose and manage patients and provide therapeutic options.
