When should you take your child to the doctor for a cold?
For a healthy child, "a cold" - runny nose, congested nose, sneezing - can be treated at home with symptoms reliever medicine like acetaminophen or ibuprofen, rest and lots of fluids. These symptoms should go away in less than a week. Your daughter will need to see a doctor if these symptoms persist more than 10 days, or your daughter has difficulty breathing, or if she's not able to keep down fluids. READ MORE
