In regards to her educational background, Dr. Casta earned her medical degree from the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in 2011, and completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2014. Finally, she completed her fellowship in sports medicine at the Boston University Medical Center in 2015.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physician (FAAFP), the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.
