The Institute of Foot & Ankle Reconstructive Surgery, with offices in Indiana (Merrillville, East Chicago, and Munster) and Illinois (Chicago), is dedicated to getting to the root of one’s foot or ankle problem. He then went on to complete his internship and residency at the University of Utah Medical Center, followed by his fellowship in diabetic limb salvage at Lecco General Hospital in Italy.

Following his training, he became board-certified through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, which strives to protect and improve the health and welfare of the public by advancing the art and science of foot and ankle surgery. He also attained fellowship status with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS). 

Among his most notable achievements, Dr. Elsamad has been published on multiple occasions and has conducted various lectures.
