Get to know Cardiothoracic Surgeon Dr. K. Adam Lee, who serves patients in Jupiter, Florida. 

Dr. Lee is a cardiothoracic surgeon serving Jupiter and the surrounding communities. He is affiliated with Jupiter Medical Center Physicians Group - a not-for-profit 297-bed regional medical center consisting of 207 private acute-care hospital beds and 90 long-term care, sub-acute rehabilitation and Hospice beds. They are reimagining how to restore the community’s health and wellness. Award-winning physicians, world-class partnerships and innovative techniques and technology enable them to provide a broad range of services. 

In 1991, Dr. Lee earned his medical degree at New York Medical College. He went on to complete a residency in general surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center and a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Massachusetts. 

Additionally, Dr. Lee is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). The American College of Surgeons is a scientific and educational association of surgeons that was founded in 1913 to improve the quality of care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice. 

Cardiothoracic Surgery is the field of medicine specialized in treating lung and esophageal cancer. Additionally, it involves surgical treatment of organs inside the thorax, such as the treatment of conditions of the heart and lungs. As a cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr. Lee typically treats conditions like heart disease and lung disease. 

With over 28 years of experience in the field, Dr. Lee has treated thousands of patients. He has spent many of those years traveling around the country to teach new surgeons in robotic thoracic surgery.
