Get to know Dermatologist Dr. Anthony J. Papadopoulos, who serves patients in Sparta, New Jersey. 

Dr. Papadopoulos is a dermatologist serving Sparta and the surrounding communities. He is affiliated with Advanced Dermatology Associates of Sussex County, a well-respected and dedicated dermatology practice ready to provide patients and their families with comprehensive and exceptional dermatologic care. In regards to his medical degree, Dr. Papadopoulos earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree from UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School. He went on to complete an internship in internal medicine at Brown University, and a dermatology residency at Georgetown University Hospital. After that, he went on to complete a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at Philadelphia Dermatologic Surgery Center. 

Additionally, Dr. Papadopoulos is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD is one of 24 medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). Through ABMS, the boards work together to establish common standards for physicians to achieve and maintain board certification. The boards were founded by their respective specialties to protect the public by assessing and certifying doctors who meet specific educational, training and professional requirements. 

Dermatology is the branch of medicine dealing with the skin, nails, hair, and its diseases. As a dermatologist, Dr. Papadopoulos evaluates and manages both common and uncommon skin conditions.
