His practice has been beautifying smiles in the local community for nearly 50 years, and it continues to grow and deliver orthodontic and pediatric dentistry care to the patients of Hillsborough County and beyond.
The doctor’s acclaimed career in orthodontics began after he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida. He completed his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and completed a post graduate residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the same educational venue.
An authority in his field, he is board-certified in orthodontics by the American Board of Orthodontics, which is the highest honor an orthodontist can achieve. To become a board-certified orthodontist, candidates must pass a rigorous exam where several patients with initially difficult orthodontic treatment must be treated with exceptional outcomes and graded by other experienced and board-certified orthodontists.
Dedicated to his craft, Dr. Busciglio is constantly striving to stay abreast of the latest technology through continuing education. When he is not at work, he enjoys going out for dinner with his wife, playing tennis, and playing with his son. He also enjoys supporting USF Bulls football, a team he played for back in 1997. His favorite superhero is Batman, and his favorite band is Coldplay.
