Fascinated by the power of the human body, Dr. Lauren Newton Morter was motivated to pursue a career in the healing arts. Dr. Lauren received a Bachelor‘s Degree in Exercise Sport Sciences and gained experience in the healthcare field as a cardiac stress testing and rehabilitation intern at Texas Tech University Medical Center Heart Hospital and as an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Specialist at Wellness Today/Physical Therapy Today in Lubbock, TX. Dr. Lauren received her doctorate from Parker University College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. Dr. Lauren is currently completing studies with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is certified in Webster Technique, a specific analysis and chiropractic adjustment that is proven to remove constraint in the uterus and allows the baby to assume the best possible position for a less traumatic birth. Her post-graduate studies include pediatric and prenatal healthcare, nutrition, and brain balancing techniques & exercises. She has past experience working with children with special needs through Girl Scouts of America, Lubbock ISD Adapted Physical Education Programs, Lubbock Artificial Limb and Brace, and the YMCA after-school program for children with special needs.
