Throughout her academic career, Dr. Quinones-Defendini earned her Medical Degree from the Ponce School of Medicine. In June 2012, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Winthrop University Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident.
Subsequent to her education, the doctor attained board certification in obstetrics and gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
