A skilled dentist, Dr. Madera is the owner of A+ Dental Care with offices in Norwalk and Bridgeport, Connecticut. His mission is to provide the best dental experience that will promote a lifelong relationship built on trust, confidence, quality of work, and exceptional patient care.

Placing a strong emphasis on preventive care and patient education, some of the dental services that he offers include: IV sedation dentistry, bonding, cosmetic services, crowns and bridges, dental cleaning, dentures, extractions, fillings, implant placement and restoration, night guards, nitrous oxide, oral surgery, periodontal services, root canal, sealants, TMJ treatment, veneers, whitening, and wisdom tooth extraction.

Born in the Bronx, New York, Dr. Madera moved to the Dominican Republic at the age of 5. Growing up there, he later attended the “Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra” where he received his Doctor of Stomatology degree. In 1989, he came back to New York to attend the NYU College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduation, he completed his residency at Nobel Biocare in 1996.

He worked in New York City and shortly moved to Connecticut looking for a better quality of life for his family. In 1994, he opened his own business in Bridgeport where he became the first Latino dentist in the area. In 1998, he expanded to a second office in Norwalk, having been dedicated to helping the Hispanic and Brazilian community for the past two decades. 

Having completed training to become certified in Invisalign, Clear Correct, Lumineers, 3i Implant, and HIOSSEN Implant, Dr. Madera is a member of numerous organizations, including: the American Dental Association, the Connecticut Dental Association, the Hispanic Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and The Holy Dental Relief. He is also the Vice President of an NGO organization.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
