Sam Najmabadi, MD, is a reproductive endocrinologist who diagnoses and treats patients at the Center for Reproductive Health and Gynecology. He established his private practice in 1997. Dr. Najmabadi completed his undergraduate degree from the University of California San Diego where he graduated with a degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Furthering his education he then attended the University of South Carolina School of Medicine where he graduated with his Medical Degree in 1988, giving him over three decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his Medical Degree he then completed his Ob/Gyn residency and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship with the University of Southern California.
Dr. Najmabadi is dual certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. To stay up to date in his field, he remains a professional member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society of Reproductive Surgeons, Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and the College of American Pathologists.
Active in research, Dr. Najmabadi has conducted and has been involved with several studies, including research for FDA approval of fertility drugs, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), and regularly participates in clinical IVF trials. He is the recipient of the Ortho Pharmaceutical Uwe Goebelsmann, M.D., memorial research award and scholarship. Dr. Sam Najmabadi has published and presented at scientific conventions and speaks regularly to professional medical gatherings and patient groups. He has a special interest in egg freezing and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).
Dr. Najmabadi currently practices with his private practice, the Center for Reproductive Health and Gynecology and is affiliated with the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the Punta Mita Hospital, where he holds an expertise in Comprehensive Fertility Treatments. Infertility treatments offered range from Hysteroscopy, Laparoscopy, tubal surgery and repair, tubal reversal after a tubal ligation, and treatments for endometriosis, to IVF, ICSI, PGD, Surrogacy, and Egg donation.
