Following her extensive education, Dr. Rotemberg graduated with her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of ABC in Brazil in 1993. She served as a surgical resident at Hospital do Servidor Público Municipal in 1993, and as a student for USMLE Boards at Kaplan Institute in Beachwood, Ohio in 1997. That same year, she completed an observership in general surgery at Case Western Reserve Institute.
Furthering her training, she completed her residency within the Department of General Surgery and her research fellowship within the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University Hospitals of Cleveland in 1999 and 2000, respectively. This was followed by additional residencies at the same educational venue in 2002 and 2003.
Thereafter, Dr. Rotemberg served as a clinical fellow within the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2005, and as an aesthetic/breast fellow within the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the said facility in 2006. Subsequently, she completed a fellowship in body contouring with Dr. Al Aly at Iowa City Plastic Surgery.
Dedicated to understanding and gracefully achieving desired goals, Dr. Rotemberg is affiliated with Baptist Health South Florida Hospitals, West Kendall Baptist Hospital, South Miami Hospital, Doctors Hospital, Kendall Regional Hospital, and Mercy Hospital.
A member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Florida Medical Association, she holds certifications in Basic Life Support & Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
