In his current capacity, he serves as the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and as an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Pikeville. As such, he teaches the following classes: Osteopathic Patient Care & Clinical Capstone Course.
Graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Pikeville College, Dr. Crum went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. He performed his residency in internal medicine at Norton Community Hospital, and his residency in radiology at Grandview Medical Center. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pikeville.
With over sixteen years of experience, the doctor is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR). The AOBR is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the use of imaging in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
