Given his extensive experience in the treatment of various musculoskeletal conditions in both adults and children, the doctor can diagnose and treat minor to complex orthopaedic issues, including chronic bone and joint conditions, trauma and fractures, sports injuries, and total joint replacements. He is affiliated with New York Community Hospital, as well as holds membership status with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Brooklyn Orthopaedic Society.

During his undergraduate studies in biological sciences at Cornell University in Ithaca, Dr. Rubinshteyn was named to the Dean’s list for academic excellence. He went on to earn his medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center in 2001.

After graduation, he went through his residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he served as chief resident during his final year. 

Shortly thereafter, he became board-certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopaedic residents and surgeons, as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopaedic surgeons. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Rubinshteyn has worked in prestigious orthopaedic positions throughout the greater New York City area. He cared for patients at Metropolitan Hospital and Coney Island Hospital, where he provided both surgical and nonsurgical treatments of bone and joint disorders and injuries.
