Gomez Jorge is a highly respected and experienced physician, having been in practice for over two decades. Her career in medicine began in 1991 when she graduated with her Medical Degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. After medical school, Dr. Gomez Jorge completed her internship and residency with the Jackson Memorial Hospital, Florida. Driven to further her expertise and knowledge, she undertook her fellowship at Johns Hopkins University, Maryland. Dr. Gomez Jorge is certified in Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology, and Vascular & Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, and has dedicated her life to delivering compassionate care. She is determined to enhance her patients’ quality of life, providing high quality, individualized care in order to ensure the most optimal results. With a passion for her work, Dr. Gomez Jorge is noted for her expertise in vascular, diagnostic, and interventional radiology. Dr. Jorge practices at her private office, and is affiliated with University of Miami Hospital, Westchester General Hospital, Plantation General Hospital, Baptist Hospital of Miami, Kendall Regional Medical Center Radiologists use imaging to gather information about the structure and function of the human body that may be unavailable without surgery. They rely on penetrating radiation, such as X-rays, CT scans, and PET scans to diagnose diseases. They may also employ ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans.
