Overcharged! Had appointment for annual physical exam; confirmed this is covered by insurance without copay. I’m a new client so I filled out usual routine questions. I indicated on form that I had asthma as a child but now that I’m adult I do not anymore have symptoms. Doc still went ahead prescribed me an inhaler (which I’ve never needed in decades) I emphasized again that I was there for Physical Exam. Doc just typed notes and said she will schedule me for a physical another day. 2 months later I get a bill from their office stating I need to pay $200 for the “office visit”. I clearly said I was there for a physical. Support agent on phone said I was diagnosed for asthma and an eyebrow rash (???) hence the $200 fee. What rash??? A rash that we never even spoke about. Also, I waited for 1 hour 40 minutes that day. Dr Ajmal was attending to just 1 other patient, no one else was at the wait area. I could hear the doc chatting and laughing inside her office (place has very thin walls).
