Get to know Otolaryngologist, Curtis D. Johnson, DO, who serves patients in Florida

A board-certified otolaryngologist, Dr. Johnson practices at ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida, which he joined in 2008. He can be found at both the Plantation and Coral Springs locations. As an ENT physician, he specializes in sinus and allergy disorders, snoring, hearing loss, dizziness, balance disorders, and hearing amplification. Dr. Johnson maintains privileges at Coral Springs Medical Center and Westside Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Johnson is a 1986-graduate of the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Southeastern University of Health Sciences. He then pursued and completed his general surgery residency and his otolaryngology – head and neck surgery residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Dr. Pantelides received board certification in otolaryngology from the American Board of Otolaryngology-head and Neck Surgery. The American Board of Otolaryngology is a non-profit corporation that has set the mission of ensuring professional standards with certificates and memberships, and has offered training in the fields of head neck surgery to professionals since 1924.

Otolaryngology is a medical specialty which is focused on the ears, nose, and throat. It is also called otolaryngology-head and neck surgery because specialists are trained in both medicine and surgery. An otolaryngologist is often called an ear, nose, and throat doctor, or an ENT for short.

Dr. Johnson maintains active professional memberships with American Medical Association, Florida Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the Florida Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and the Broward County Medical Association.
