Get to know Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Gary Okamura, who serves patients in Honolulu, Hawaii.

A Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC), Dr. Okamura is a double board-certified orthopedic surgeon with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.  He has his office at the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu and a second office for his west side patients in Waipahu ph.(808) 550-0498. Arthroscopic Hip Surgery is a newer method of treating patients with hip pains.  It is an advanced procedure and not offered to patients by most orthopedic surgeons. Before long, he attained board certification in orthopedic surgery and orthopedic sports medicine through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.
