Fluent in both English and Arabic, Dr. Darrat is a board-certified otolaryngologist who is currently serving patients at Henry Ford Medical Center – Fairlane in Dearborn, Michigan & Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Both are a part of Henry Ford Health System, a leading health care and medical services provider in the Southwest Detroit region.
Dr. Darrat earned her medical degree from Wayne State University College of Medicine in 2005. She then went on to complete her residency in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in 2010, followed by her fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the University of Michigan in 2012.
Following her education and training, she has turned to Henry Ford Health System as the only fellowship trained pediatric otolaryngologist. She focuses her practice on the care of pediatric patients with ear, nose and throat surgical concerns. Her practice focus in surgical treatment of pediatric obstructive sleep apnea, surgical treatment of pediatric patients with hearing and/or chronic ear disease, and surgical treatment of pediatric patients with neck masses. In addition, she is an advocate of using technology in the medical setting to help improve patient access and patient/physician satisfaction thus provides many virtual visits options for her patients.
