Dr. Schwartz is an allergist / immunologist who is currently serving patients at the Atlantic Allergy & Asthma Center in Somers Point, New Jersey. The Atlantic Allergy & Asthma Center is the Cape-Atlantic region’s first choice for allergy care. The practice specializes in the treatment of allergy related problems such as asthma, seasonal and year round allergies, IgE mediated food allergic reactions, bee sting reaction, and sinus problems. Dr. Schwartz graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry in 1986. He then attended the NOVA Southeastern University of the Health Sciences and obtained his medical degree in 1990. Upon graduation, Dr. Schwartz began work in pediatrics at Morristown Memorial Hospital where he completed his residency in 1993. He then went on to complete his fellowship training in allergy and immunology at the Long Island College Hospital in New York in 1993.
Having grown up in South Jersey, Dr. Schwartz decided to return home to start his allergy and immunology practice in 1995 in Atlantic County. Over the years, he has cared for hundreds of children and adults with various allergic and immunologic conditions.
Dr. Schwartz is board-certified in allergy and immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI). The ABAI was established in 1971 as a Conjoint Board of the ABIM and the ABP. The Board is committed to working closely with its parent boards to maintain the highest educational and clinical standards in the specialty of allergy/immunology.
Dr. Schwartz is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, as well as a member of the American Osteopathic Association.
