Get to know Periodontist Dr. Nolen Levine, who serves patients in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Levine, an experienced periodontist and a pioneer on implant dentistry, is the Founder of Periodontal Associates in Chicago, Illinois. His priority is to deliver quality care to informed patients in a comfortable and convenient setting.
With over 45 years in private periodontal and implant practice, some of the services that he offers / issues that he treats include: periodontal disease, treatment of periodontitis, scaling and root planing, crown lengthening, implants, osseous surgery, regeneration, early stage gingivitis, pocket reduction (flap surgery), gingivectomy, grafts, and ridge augmentation.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Dr. Levine completed his residency in periodontics at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston.
He is a former Associate Professor of Periodontics at Northwestern University School of Dentistry, as well as a former President of the Illinois Society of Periodontists, the Illinois Alumni Chapter of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and the West Suburban Branch of the Chicago Dental Society. He is also a former chairman of the Midwinter Meeting of the Chicago Dental Society.
A Fellow of the American and the International College of Dentists, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the Odontographic Society of Chicago, Dr. Levine is on the Board of Directors of the “BUD” Tarson Dental Foundation and has developed a research fellowship for the study of regeneration. He is also the Director of Professional Relations and Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board for XCP.
A visiting faculty member of the Misch International Implant Institute, he has lectured extensively on implant dentistry and plastic and reconstructive periodontal surgery and has been named the Claude Nabers Visiting Professor in Periodontics at the University of Texas Health Center, Houston. He has been repeatedly selected to be the clinician for the Live TV demonstration at the Chicago Dental Society’s Midwinter Meeting.
