Alongside his private practice, Dr. Hendrixson served as the Vice Chief of Staff at Jamestown Regional Medical Center. He also served as Medical Director for Quality Hospice Care, based in Jamestown, Tennessee for over two years.

In good standing with a number of professional organizations, he is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American College of Physicians, and the Tennessee Oncology Practice Society.
