A seasoned emergency physician, Dr. Nzeogu is affiliated with Carilion Clinic, working with patients at Carilion Tazewell Community Hospital and Carilion Giles Community Hospital.

Obtaining his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens in 1996, he went on to further his training by completing his internship and residency in family medicine at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in 1999.

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in family medicine and emergency medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.
