Dr. Peterson earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. He then completed his general surgery residency at both the Sioux Falls Family Medicine Program and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Program. Additionally, Dr. Peterson is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice and the American Board of General Surgery.
