Get to know Internist Dr. Vinod Sancheti, who serves patients in New Jersey.

Specializing in the geriatrics population in ocean county, Dr. Sancheti is a dedicated internist with over 25 years of experience in his field. He is in private practice with offices in Lakehurst and Toms River, New Jersey. His services range from comprehensive medical history and physical examination to cholesterol screening, electrocardiogram, thyroid function tests, and more.

He is also the Medical Director of skilled nursing facilities, including Atlantic Coast Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Hampton Ridge Healthcare & Rehabilitation, AristaCare Manchester, AristaCare Whiting, Green Acres Manor, and Holiday Care Center.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from Dr. Sampurnanand Medical College in India in 1989. Upon relocating to the United States, he went on to serve his internship and residency in internal medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in 1996 and 1998, respectively. 

A member of the Medical Society of New Jersey, Dr. Sancheti is board-certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.
