Having earned a prestigious position among world-renowned orthopedic surgeons, Dr. Haar is the Owner of Haar Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in New York, New York. He specializes in the treatment of a variety of orthopedic conditions and has special expertise in the following: total knee, partial knee, knee arthroscopy, shoulder arthroscopy, ACL repair, and ACL reconstruction. 

Though Dr. Haar is globally acclaimed for sports medicine, he has mastered non-surgical as well as surgical orthopedics, thereby helping candidates from all age groups all across the world. Among his various academic and clinical appointments, Dr. Haar is a Clinical Instructor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai; the Medical Director of Regency Healthcare Medical, PLLC Office Based Surgical Facility; and the President of Midtown Surgical Center. He is also affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital.

A native of New Jersey, Dr. Haar completed his undergraduate work at Rutgers College and received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and his residencies in general surgery and orthopedic surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. To this day, he continues to take advanced post-graduate courses and seminars.

A member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the doctor is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.
