Get to know Dentist Anthony R. Salvato, DDS, who serves patients in Newtown, Connecticut

Dr. Salvato is a seasoned dentist who sees patients at Premier Dental of Connecticut in Newtown, Connecticut. Endowed with a warm smile, he takes the time to ensure that patients understand their treatment options. Dr. Salvato’s areas of expertise cover cosmetic/esthetic dentistry, occlusal reconstruction, and implant dentistry. Moreover, he is experienced in the treatment of the mentally retarded, handicapped, disabled and other medically compromised patients.

Dr. Salvato is a professional member of the American Dental Association and the Connecticut Dental Association, which allows him to remain at the forefront of his challenging profession. His work, Taking the Challenge: Treatment of the Disabled Patient, published in a special edition of the Journal of the Connecticut State Dental Association.  Dr. Salvato maintains a staff membership at Nuvance Health – Norwalk Hospital.

Dr. Salvato is a 1964-graduate of the Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in Teaneck, New Jersey. A Captain at Fort Sill Reynolds Army Hospital, Dr. Dalvato has also served as senior attending dentist at Staff Norwalk Hospital, where he held operating room privileges.
