Well-versed in the field of family medicine, Dr. Roome is affiliated with Hamilton Community Health Network in Burton, Michigan.

Established in 1983, Hamilton Community Health Network is the largest FQHC in Genesee County with seven clinics and one clinic in Lapeer County. They have over 200 employees and a network of over 40 providers specializing in primary care/family medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, optometry, oral health, podiatry, behavioral health and psychiatry. Their mission is to provide excellent compassionate healthcare for all communities they serve.

Pertaining to his educational pursuits, Dr. Roome attended the Wayne State University School of Medicine for his medical degree, and completed his residency in family medicine at Oakwood Hospital.

Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor.
