Get to know Family Physician Dr. Amy Santeusanio Walker, who serves patients in Paoli, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Walker, a trusted family physician, specializes in caring for the entire family. She joined Paoli Family Medicine in April of 1998. 

Located in Pennsylvania, Paoli Family Medicine strives to offer patients the highest standard of healthcare possible. The dedicated care team consists of doctors, practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and patient service representatives serving each patient’s needs. They treat each patient with respect and dignity and seek to educate and instruct him or her in practical aspects of healthcare management.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Walker received her pre-medical undergraduate degree at Hunter College in New York City. She then attended Penn State College of Medicine for her medical degree. She completed her residency in family medicine at Bryn Mawr Hospital in 1998. 

That same year, she attained board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine, whose mission is to improve the health of the public through Board Certification, Residency Training, Research, Leadership Development, and promoting the development of the specialty of Family Medicine. 

The recipient of Pennsylvania Magazine’s Top Doctors Award for 2019, Dr. Walker is a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Medical Association. 

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility. 

Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Walker’s hobbies include running and playing the violin; she played violin professionally for 5 years.
