Dr. Jones sees everyone from first time dental patients to senior citizens. One particular preferred patient is always welcome – the dental coward. “There are plenty of people who are terrified of the dentist.  It is very common, so we try our best to settle fears and relax patients in a comfortable environment, so we welcome those who have honest phobias. We take extra time with these patients and our younger patients who are visiting for the first time as well” as stated by Dr. Jones.

Dr. Jones specializes in “painless dentistry”. He believes that making the dental experience as comfortable as possible is a key element in empowering each patient to take an active role in their oral health. His conservative approach to dental problems and his emphasis on painless dentistry, combined with the most modern treatments and technology, provide the most comprehensive and comfortable dentistry possible. Entrusted by his father, Dr. Paul Jones, with the wisdom of 42 years of experience, Dr. Jones is dedicated to maintaining a long tradition of dental excellence in the DC area.

Dr. Jones is a graduate of Archbishop Carroll School and a proud alumnus of Howard University College of Dentistry, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in both Biology and Chemistry, as well as his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a general & cosmetic dentist, Dr. Jones has the skills needed to complete an array of procedures that are simple or complex in nature.

In 2013, Dr. Jones went on a mission trip to Honduras. There, he provided fundamental dental care and dental surgery, as well as educated the population on better dental hygiene. In addition to English, Dr. Jones is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
