Hi First you must let the implant heal and osseointegate for the next 3-4 months… then your dentist specialist will re-evaluate and make sure it is stable …. Sometimes you can get a denture immediately but then it will need to be realigned or it’s best to wait 6 to 8 weeks and then you can start fabricating the new denture when all healing occurs. READ MORE

No but you will experience slight mobility of the teeth and slight discomfort at first. Also you must have meticulous oral hygiene so you don’t get cavities! READ MORE
Is it normal for a tooth filling to be sensitive?
Yes…especially if it was a little deep or a composite resin was used to restore it because of the acid etching technique to bond it. Try to stay away from really hot and or really cold foods for a little while and use Sensodyne toothpaste around it and see if the sensitivity subsides in a few days! Sometimes it can take a few weeks. If it doesn’t go away then you should go back to the dentist because possibly a root canal would be needed. READ MORE

Honestly, toothpaste really doesn’t whiten your teeth that much! It would be best to use a take-home whitening kit such as ultradent opalescent on the go which has hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide ingredients which will help to whiten your teeth faster! Actually, if you rinse with 3% hydrogen peroxide that will help your gums as well as whiten your teeth over time! READ MORE

Why does my 5 year old have so many cavities?
Hi, Before I answer that I need to get more information from you…. Does your five-year-old eat a lot of sweets or drink soda? Do you live in a fluoridated area? Does he/she brush and floss teeth regularly? Perhaps he or she has acid reflux or sinusitis or sleep apnea which can lead to dry mouth. Are you using a fluoride mouthwash after brushing and flossing in the evening prior to going to bed such as ACT or Fluoriguard? Did she/he ever have a high fever where liquid antibiotics were prescribed to him or her with cherry flavor? That usually has sugar in it, and if you don’t rinse with water afterwards and go to bed with that lying on the teeth, it can cause cavities. Hope this helps! READ MORE
