Luisa Elizondo graduated from California State University, Fresno with a master's degree in physical therapy in 1995. She has worked in San Diego in many different settings, but found her passion in the outpatient orthopedic clinic, utilizing manual treatment, exercise, and postural awareness to improve the function and wellbeing of her patients. Luisa began Pilates for her own enjoyment and self-rehab after a back injury. Realizing the value, she became a Stott-certified Pilates instructor in 2007 and utilizes Pilates as the exercise modality with all her clients. In addition to treating physical therapy patients, Luisa teaches a therapeutic Pilates class at SDSM and has a clientele of private Pilates students as well.
