Get to know Psychologist Dr. Sabrina Martin, who serves patients in Clearwater, Florida.

Being an exceptional psychologist, Dr. Martin is a highly respected and experienced licensed psychologist, who serves as the president of Martin Psychological Services & Consulting, a leading psychological practice based in Florida. With over a decade of dedicated work in the field of clinical psychology, she is known for her exceptional expertise in various areas, including psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, veteran disability evaluations, consultation, and training. Her deep understanding and proficiency extend to fields like forensics, neuropsychology, and geriatric psychology.

As a certified dementia practitioner and an advanced trained Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) therapist, the doctor is well-equipped to provide innovative and effective solutions to her clients. ART, in particular, is a powerful technique that allows her to address issues like PTSD trauma, anxiety, grief, and phobias in as few as 1 to 5 sessions, providing rapid relief and resolution.

Before embarking on her professional journey, Dr. Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Toledo, Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from The American School of Professional Psychology (Sarasota). Additionally, she completed a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) from the Florida School of Professional Psychology (Tampa). While completing her PsyD, she completed research and clinical experience to include interests including neuropsychology,  psychopathy, severe mental illness, assessment, geriatric psychology, and clinical practice. She completed her APA accredited doctoral internship at the Northeast Florida State Psychiatric Hospital and earned one of only two post-doctoral fellowship positions with the Florida Department of Corrections, which further enriched her professional background.

Among her professional affiliations, she is an active member of the American Psychological Association, the Florida Psychological Association, and the International Society of Accelerated Resolution Therapy, which demonstrates her commitment to staying connected with her peers and staying informed about the latest developments in psychology.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Martin has conducted hundreds of veteran disability evaluations for compensation and pension claims related to military service. This service is particularly valuable to veterans seeking private evaluations to navigate the complexities of their claims.
