Dr. Cai-Luo is a board-certified pediatrician who sees newborns, toddlers, and adolescents at her private practice in Livingston, New Jersey. She can also serve her patients in any one of the following hospitals if needed: St. Barnabas Medical Center and Morristown Memorial Hospital.

The doctor has been working at different clinics in the New Jersey and New York area in the past and her skilled and passionate service to the community in Livingston has been drawing praises and appreciation from many young patients and their parents.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Cai-Luo received her medical degree from one of the most prestigious medical schools in the world – Jinan University Medical School in Guangzhou, China in 1983. She then relocated to the United States to complete her residency in pediatrics at the University Hospital of UMDNJ in New Jersey. 

In accordance with the American Academy of Pediatrics’ rigid academic and professional standard, she attained Fellowship status. Additionally, she became board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), which is one of the 24 certifying boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties. Founded in 1933, the ABP is an independent, nonprofit organization whose certificate is recognized throughout the world as a credential signifying a high level of physician competence. Certification by the ABP has one objective, to promote excellence in medical care for children and adolescents. 

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends people be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. As a pediatrician, Dr. Cai-Luo provides medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. She is trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature. 

Among her numerous accolades, Dr. Cai-Luo is the recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award (2015), the On-Time Doctor Award (2015, 2016), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2014, 2015, 2016).
