If it’s a corner that chipped off, and there isn’t any decay, then you may get away with a filling... however, if the lower tooth is hitting it harder than the other teeth, it may need to be addressed too.   • Is a root canal in pregnancy safe?

    It is safe to have treatment during pregnancy as long as X-rays are taken with a shield and you aren't exposed to too much epinephrine. Epinephrine is part of the local anesthesia used. Most won't use it or just use very little. Teeth pain can cause a lot of stress which is defintely not needed during pregnancy! Some dentists may just relieve pressure on the nerve.
