Too much time wasted!. I made an appointment for my daughter since I could get in quickly, even tho it was during the day, the office help took all my insurance information over the phone and even called the next day to make sure she had everything correct. I took my daughter out of school, got to the office, filled out the 4 pages of paperwork and then waited. After a total of 50 min the receptionist told us that since we had a deductible, it was their office policy, that we pay $250 before she could put us in a room to see the Dr. I asked her if she took credit cards, since I had a flex spending card, she said no, it would have to be a cashiers check from our bank! Who walks around with a $250 cashiers check in their purse? The receptionist had called me 3 times before I came in, you would have thought she would have mentioned something as important as an "office policy"!
