Can the COVID vaccine cause harm to my baby?
Now that the national emergency is over, the vaccine does not have the utility it once did. At no point did it prevent infection or the spread of COVID, but it did reduce the severity of the illness in some populations. I don’t really recommend it for anyone anymore. If you are young enough to be pregnant, you are likely at very low risk for death from COVID. We have inadequate safety data, and much of what we know is not released publicly. We simply do not know if the vaccine is safe for pregnant women, and since the potential benefit to a woman that young is small, I no longer recommend it. READ MORE
