He completed his internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in 1995, followed by his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1998.

Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in anesthesiology through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care.
