A seasoned family physician, Dr. Strzinek is the owner of Texas FamiliCare, PLLC in Hurst, Texas. He has been practicing in the mid-cities area since 1979, with a mission to deliver the best possible family medical care.
Born in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Strzinek earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Abilene Christian University and his Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Biology/Chemistry from the University of North Texas in 1970. Subsequently, he obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center-Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1978.
From 1970-1973, Dr. Strzinek was the recipient of a National Research Council postdoctoral fellowship at NASA Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston, Texas. At NASA, his research was primarily focused on the effects of zero gravity on cell metabolism during the Apollo 14 – Skylab 1 space exploration programs.
Dedicated to clinical excellence, the doctor is board certified in family practice and osteopathic manipulative medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.
Contributing to the development of immunological assay procedures for serum proteins and immunoglobulins, Dr. Strzinek has served as the Director of Immunology for Helena Laboratories in Beaumont, Texas. Since 1999, alongside his active family medicine practice, he has been a principal investigator in over 150 Phase 1-4 clinical trials, focusing on medications for diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, GI disorders, and men’s and women’s health issues. His contributions to women’s health and diabetes have been published.
Today, Dr. Strzinek continues his clinical research interests in collaboration with Elligo Direct Health.
